To ensure compliance with QCS 2014
, applicable HSE regulations
, and project-specific safety requirements while promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment.
- Conduct daily HSE inspections and site audits to ensure compliance with project requirements and HSE regulations.
- Enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safe working practices across all work activities.
- Review, verify, and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
- Assess and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Method Statements (MS) to ensure suitability and compliance.
- Conduct site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness training sessions.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, hazardous occurrences, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports and maintain accurate HSE records and documentation.
- Participate in and coordinate emergency response drills and preparedness activities.
- Monitor environmental compliance and implement environmental protection measures.
- Liaise and coordinate with the Client, consultants, and subcontractors on all HSE-related matters.
- Support internal and external HSE audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Exercise Stop Work Authority whenever unsafe acts or unsafe conditions are identified.
- Sound knowledge of QCS 2014
, applicable HSE regulations, and safety management systems. - NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
- Minimum 4 years of HSE experience in the GCC region
. - Knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skills.
- Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
