Surface Preparation Inspection :
Verify blasting, cleaning, and preparation of substrates in line with project specifications and NACE standards.
Coating Application Monitoring :
Inspect application of primers, intermediate, and finish coats to ensure compliance with manufacturer’s data sheets and project requirements.
Environmental Condition Checks :
Monitor temperature, humidity, dew point, and surface conditions before and during coating application.
Quality Assurance :
Ensure coating thickness, adhesion, and curing meet specified standards.
Documentation & Reporting :
Maintain inspection records, daily reports, and coating logs for QA/QC compliance.
Non‑Conformance Management :
Identify coating defects (holidays, pinholes, blistering), issue NCRs, and verify corrective actions.
Safety Compliance :
Ensure safe handling of paints, solvents, and blasting equipment in line with HSE protocols.
Coordination :
Liaise with contractors, supervisors, and QA/QC managers to resolve coating issues and ensure timely completion.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline.
Mandatory Certification
: NACE Level II Coating Inspector.
Minimum 5–7 years of coating inspection experience
, with offshore oil & gas exposure preferred

Strong knowledge of SSPC, ISO, ASTM, and project coating specifications.
Certifications & TrainingISO 9001 Quality Management awareness.
Offshore survival training (BOSIET/HUET).
HSE training for hazardous materials handling.
