Work Schedule: 6 Days per Week
Working Hours: 8-10 Hours per Day
We are seeking an experienced Quality Specialist (Assurance) to join a major Oil & Gas project in Qatar. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the implementation of the Project Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with operating company quality requirements and project specifications.
This position will provide quality assurance leadership across surveillance programs, NCR/CAR management, audit coordination, quality reporting, KPI monitoring, lessons learned initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and oversee Contractor Quality Management Systems.
- Ensure Engineering, Procurement, and Construction quality requirements are effectively implemented.
- Support Procurement and Construction Quality Surveillance Programs.
- Manage Deficiency Reports (DRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving activities.
- Develop and maintain quality performance reporting and risk tracking.
- Coordinate Company and Contractor Audit Programs and maintain the Audit Universe.
- Manage project quality induction, orientation, and training records.
- Monitor Quality KPIs and contractor performance against contractual requirements.
- Support Gate Reviews and quality reporting activities.
- Drive Lessons Learned programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science
- Additional certifications in Quality, Welding Inspection, NDE, ISO, CSWIP, BGAS, or related disciplines are preferred
- Minimum 8 years of Quality experience within the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience working with Operators, EPC Contractors, or Service Companies
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Audits, Surveillance Programs, and Quality Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and quality processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing audits, NCRs, CARs, and quality reporting
- Ability to influence stakeholders and coordinate across multicultural teams
- Strong planning, organizational, and reporting skills
- Ability to confidently interact with project management teams and contractors
