Working Hours: 8-10 Hours per Day
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead - COMP 2 & 5 LQ Fabrication to support a major LNG expansion project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the project quality management program and ensuring the effective execution of the Contractor's Quality Management System during the fabrication of Living Quarters (LQ) Topsides for the COMP 2 & 5 project.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive EPC Contractors and subcontractors to achieve project quality objectives while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Interface with fabrication yard teams to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Coordinate with inspectors to identify, communicate, and close quality-related concerns.
- Implement and monitor Compnays Quality Management System requirements.
- Monitor contractor, subcontractor, and vendor quality performance.
- Participate in safety programs, site walks, and quality observations.
- Manage non-conformances, technical deviations, and corrective actions.
- Support lessons learned initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Identify quality and progress concerns and recommend corrective measures.
- Maintain close coordination with project management, engineering, and quality leadership teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science
- Additional certifications in Quality, Welding, NDE Inspection, or related disciplines preferred
- Minimum 8 years of Quality experience within the Oil & Gas industry
- At least 1 year in a supervisory, lead, or oversight role
- Experience with EPC Contractors, Service Companies, or Oil & Gas Operators
- Exposure to large-scale fabrication, construction, or LNG projects
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, specifications, and industry standards
- Strong leadership and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in quality auditing, inspections, NCR management, and corrective actions
- Analytical mindset with strong reporting and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to influence and manage multicultural teams
