We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of QAQC Inspector – Welding in Qatar
. Our client, Danem Engineering Works W.L.L, is seeking an experienced professional with strong welding inspection and quality-control knowledge. Candidates with 8–10 years of relevant experience and a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply early as positions are limited.
- Inspect welding activities to ensure workmanship meets approved specifications and quality requirements.
- Verify welding procedures, WPS/PQR documentation, and welder qualification records before and during fabrication activities.
- Conduct visual inspection of weld joints and identify welding defects or non-conformities.
- Coordinate required NDT activities and review inspection results for compliance.
- Monitor welding parameters, consumables, joint preparation, fit-up, and pre-/post-weld requirements.
- Prepare and maintain welding inspection reports, quality records, and inspection documentation.
- Coordinate with welding, fabrication, QA/QC, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support corrective and preventive actions for welding-related non-conformities.
- Welding Inspection: Strong understanding of weld inspection techniques and acceptance criteria.
- WPS/PQR Knowledge: Ability to review welding procedure and qualification documentation.
- Welding Defect Identification: Knowledge of common weld discontinuities and defects.
- NDT Coordination: Understanding of common non-destructive testing methods used for weld inspection.
- QA/QC Documentation: Ability to maintain inspection records and quality documentation accurately.
- Familiarity with commonly used welding codes and standards.
- Experience working in fabrication or engineering project environments.
- Knowledge of inspection test plans and non-conformance reporting.
