Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer with experience in software quality engineering and the Travel & Airlines domain
. The role involves test case development, test execution, requirement traceability, environment and test data preparation, defect management, UAT support, and quality assurance across applications.

• Create, review, and execute test scenarios and test cases covering functional, manual, automation, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure complete requirements coverage.
• Perform smoke, sanity, functional, integration, regression, black-box, and white-box testing
  .
• Validate test environment readiness and prepare test labs and test data for execution.
• Execute test cases, identify defects, and manage defect logging, tracking, reporting, and closure
  .
• Review test cases, scenarios, and RTM to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Support the team/client during UAT/BUT activities, where applicable.
• Review defects raised by the team and coordinate/assign them to the appropriate owner.
• Maintain testing documentation, knowledge repositories, and QA artefacts.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, functional teams, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
• Estimate task-level testing effort and ensure assigned activities are completed within agreed timelines.
• Apply a holistic quality approach covering domain, user experience, functional, technical, and system quality
  .

• 2+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering; 4+ years preferred for senior-level positions
  .
• Hands-on experience in the Travel & Airlines domain
  .
• Strong knowledge of manual and functional testing
  .
• Experience in test scenario/test case creation, execution, and review
  .
• Experience with RTM, defect management, smoke testing, and sanity testing
  .
• Experience in UAT, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
  .
• Knowledge of test environment, test lab, and test data preparation
  .
• Understanding of black-box and white-box testing
  .
• Good analytical, communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
• Travel & Airlines domain certification preferred/required as applicable.
