Responsible for implementing the quality management program and overseeing the contractor’s quality management system during fabrication, installation, and execution activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee fabrication quality surveillance to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Manage deficiencies and NCRs, ensuring timely investigation and closure.
- Monitor and report quality performance, issues, risks, and trends.
- Participate in quality audits to verify compliance with approved plans and procedures.
- Lead offshore installation QA/QC teams, including welding, NDT, and coating inspectors.
- Coordinate with fabrication teams and inspectors to resolve quality issues.
- Implement the Quality Management System and verify EPC contractor compliance.
- Capture lessons learned and drive timely closure of quality actions.
- Participate in safety walks and safety observation programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Additional qualifications in quality, welding, and NDE inspection.
- 8 years of Oil & Gas quality experience, including 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
- Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, or service companies.
- Experience in large-scale operational and project environments.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, specifications, tools, and industry standards.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to develop and implement Oil & Gas Quality Management Systems.
- Confidently engage with project management teams and contractors.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and planning skills.
