Responsible for implementing the project quality management program and ensuring contractor compliance with quality management requirements during fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with fabrication teams and inspectors to identify, resolve, and close quality issues.
- Implement the quality management system and verify contractor compliance.
- Monitor contractor, subcontractor, and vendor quality performance and report findings.
- Manage non-conformances, technical deviations, and corrective actions.
- Capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in site safety walks and safety observation programs.
- Maintain close coordination with quality management and site engineering teams.
- Identify quality and progress concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Additional qualifications in quality, welding, and NDE inspection.
- Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas quality experience, including 2 years in supervisory or oversight roles.
- Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, or service companies.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to develop and implement Oil & Gas Quality Management Systems.
- Confident interaction with project management teams and contractors.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and planning skills.
