Responsibilities
  • Assist the management team in running the restaurant effectively by maintaining high service standards and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Maintain and lead by example to ensure the team demonstrates the highest standards of grooming by adhering to the Company Dress Code Policy.
  • Ensure the assigned area reflects the highest standards of hygiene and maintenance by adhering to Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, and report/follow up on maintenance issues.
  • Provide a high level of engagement with guests; ensure staff provides prompt and efficient service. Follow cash handling procedures and train the team on billing and processes to avoid cash variances.
  • Have a full knowledge of the restaurant menu and share it with the team to advise customers correctly about the specialties offered.
  • Identify opportunities for improving customer service and communicate with the Restaurant Management Team to enhance the brand image.
  • Monitor service against business standards with the line manager, record and maintain customer feedback, and implement action plans.
  • Monitor daily staff coverage according to trade levels to ensure the area is efficiently resourced.
  • Monitor daily product quality and availability; report issues to the supplying department.
  • Identify and create sales opportunities through upselling programs and incentives to support management in achieving targets.
  • Monitor daily wastage and breakage and ensure staff record it accurately for data integrity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of job-related experience
  • Customer experience
  • Knowledge about stock control and wastage
  • Knowledge of international food & beverage
  • Computer knowledge in Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
  • Micros / other POS software
  • KPIs knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
