Work behind the scene at the famous resorts and restaurants in Qatar! You will maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils. Assist and work together with the F&B team to ensure smooth operation of the location. Follow your definite and repetitive daily tasks to help your kitchen team for the best customer service.
Salary informationBasic Net Salary: 430 US$
Shared service charge and management discretionary bonus

the role
If you work in a kitchen as a helper there are a lot duties and tasks you will be required to perform. The working conditions may not be very favorable because the temperatures can be hot and you may have to lift heavy equipment areas of the kitchen need to be kept clean and sanitized. Kitchen helpers must make sure the kitchen area is well kept and maintained.
They also have to work in conjunction with the food service staff.
Prepare a variety of food items for cooking; retrieve food items from the fridge or freezer.
Wash, peel and/or cut food items including fruits, vegetables or certain types of meat.
Portion or wrap food items or dishes; store food in containers and in the fridge or freezer.
Weigh or measure ingredients (e.g., flour, salt, sugar, oil); refill kitchen condiment bottles and shakers.
Stack and store food supplies, equipment or other utensils in the kitchen.
Wipe down kitchen surfaces using proper sanitizers; clean any used kitchenware (e.g., knives) or dishes.
Mop or sweep the kitchen floor and collect dirt and debris in a dustpan; take out trash bags from kitchen.
Skills and experience- Male with previous experience working in a restaurant setting (e.g., dishwasher, bus boy/girl etc. is preferred).
- Manual dexterity. Ability and readiness for repeated and coordinated routine manual work.
- Ability to follow Health and Safety Procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to follow verbal instructions and ideas.
