Apt Resources is looking for a talented and experienced Mandarin-Speaking Restaurant Manager to join our client's team in a prestigious dining establishment in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional who is fluent in Mandarin and has a strong background in managing upscale dining experiences.
As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality food standards. You will lead, motivate, and develop a team of staff, ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience reflective of the restaurant’s high standards.
Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, train, and mentor the restaurant staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and promote the restaurant offerings.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain positive relationships with guests, responding to feedback and resolving any issues promptly.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to maximize operational efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze performance reports, offering insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update menus aligned with guest preferences.
- Promote the restaurant through marketing initiatives and community engagement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within an upscale dining establishment.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational and financial management skills.
- Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A proven track record of enhancing guest satisfaction.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
