Role Description The Line Cook role is a full-time, on-site position based in Limassol Municipality. The Line Cook will prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the station, managing food prep, following food safety and hygiene guidelines, and coordinating with other kitchen team members during service.
The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, monitoring inventory levels for ingredients, and assisting with receiving and storing supplies. The Line Cook will collaborate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to support smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills in basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating for a busy kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage time effectively, and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills to coordinate with chefs, kitchen assistants, and service staff.
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role, preferably in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operations.
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and routine maintenance.
- Relevant culinary training, certification, or vocational education is an advantage.
