We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles amp Fairmont Doha as our new Waiter Waitress. The Waiter Waitress is responsible for providing friendly efficient and professional food and beverage service to guests while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The role involves taking food and beverage orders, serving guests according to established service standards, providing menu recommendations, responding to guest requests and coordinating with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth and timely service.

The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Present menus and explain food and beverage options
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Provide recommendations based on guest preferences
• Serve food and beverages efficiently according to service standards
• Ensure tables are properly set, clean and maintained
• Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience
• Handle guest requests, feedback and complaints professionally
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure timely service
• Check guest satisfaction and follow up when required
• Process bills and payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the service area
• Upsell food and beverage items where appropriate
• Follow hotel policies, procedures and service standards
• Assist with opening, closing and other daily restaurant operations

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Waiter, Waitress or in a similar hospitality role
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good English communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Professional and pleasant personality
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle guest requests and complaints professionally
• Basic knowledge of POS and payment systems
• Good teamwork and coordination skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Additional language skills are an advantage
