Responsibilities, Qualifications, and Compensation

We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team at our Doha location. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling customer transactions in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills as well as experience with cash register operations, counting money, making change and managing debit/credit cards. This position offers a salary of 1000 QAR per month.

• Receive cash from customers in exchange for goods or services
• Count money to verify amount received against amount tendered on receipt
• Issue change, receipts, refunds or tickets to customers as needed
• Balance the register at the end of shift and ensure accuracy of all cash transactions
• Use POS system to process payments from customers and complete sales transactions accurately
• Ensure accurate processing of all purchases using cash registers, scanners or other equipment
• Answer customer inquiries regarding payment options and resolve any issues that may arise during transaction processing
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout station area

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Previous experience in a retail setting is preferred but not required
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with figures while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to provide excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic math skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of POS systems is preferred but not required
