Assistant Restaurant Manager - Pan-Asian concept; Kuwait

Pan-Asian concept (Kuwait) at Career Land Center in Doha, DAW, QA.

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and a premium guest experience
• Supervise, train, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver consistent luxury service standards
• Support the execution of fine dining service sequences, table management, guest recognition, and personalized service
• Ensure strong knowledge and presentation of the Pan-Asian cuisine concept, menu items, ingredients, and service style
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle complaints professionally, and ensure effective service recovery when needed
• Conduct daily briefings, allocate duties, and monitor staff grooming, attendance, and performance
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, stewarding, hostess team, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, ambience, table setup, and overall presentation in line with luxury hotel standards
• Support upselling initiatives, revenue generation, cost control, inventory, breakage, and wastage management
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, safety, and hotel operating standards
• Assist with scheduling, training plans, reports, guest feedback analysis, and operational improvements
• Step in to manage restaurant operations in the Restaurant Manager’s absence

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role
• Must have prior experience in luxury hotels
• Must have experience in fine dining restaurant operations
• Experience with Pan-Asian cuisine concepts is required
• Strong knowledge of luxury restaurant service standards, guest experience, and sequence of service
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Strong guest relations skills with a calm, professional, and solutions-focused approach
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Presentable, confident, detail-oriented, and service-driven
• Flexible to work according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with POS systems, reservation platforms, inventory control, and basic reporting is preferred
