Job Description- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen.
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all pastry products.
- Develop and enhance dessert menus with innovative recipes and seasonal offerings.
- Supervise, train, and motivate pastry kitchen staff.
- Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization.
- Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Minimize waste and maximize efficiency in pastry kitchen operations.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking processes, and dessert preparation.
- Creativity and attention to detail in presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary or Pastry Arts certification is an advantage.
