- Supervises and supports the delivery food and refreshments to employee s and delivering high service standards and procedures with emphasis on ensuring seating and meals are available for all shifts
- Cleans and maintains equipment tools fixtures using correct cleaning agents and working in a safe and hygienic manner
- Cleans and re-stocks service stations and all other storage places
- To be familiar with all items available to employee s in relation to the employee menu and buffet items
- To set up each table according to the needs for each service including condiments and utilities
- To adhere to the cleaning schedule and ensure it is followed at all times
- To report for duty on time and ensure a smart image at all times by maintaining the highest standards of personnel hygiene
- To be knowledgeable of all equipment in the cafeteria
- Performs any other tasks requested by Human Resources Team and any reasonable request made by employee s committee members
- Be actively involved in food welfare committee meeting and ideas to enhance the employee dining experience Attend team meetings and training sessions on a regular basis as and when required
- To carry out any occasional duty as requested by the Employee Accommodation Manager including functions such as employee welfare events and National days
- Responsible for food control stock taking ordering and quality control
- Assist the Stewards in preparing Cafeteria utensils used during meal and tea breaks
- Ensures that proper sanitation and hygiene is being followed in dining and kitchen area
- Be properly groomed at all times
- Provides assistance to employees in the Cafeteria
- Work closely with the Hygiene Manager and Chief Steward to ensure the dining facilities meet all food safety and municipality standards
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for hospitality
- Good communication and time management skills with a friendly personality
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays
