Sous Chef - Indian​/Nepali Cuisine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Doha, Qatar. Our restaurant specializes in Indian and Nepali cuisine, and we are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about these cuisines and can bring their expertise to our kitchen.

• Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development and food cost management
• Oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of Indian and Nepali dishes
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
• Adhere to all food safety regulations

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in an Indian/Nepali restaurant or hotel
• In-depth knowledge of Indian/Nepali cuisine and cooking techniques
• Ability to create authentic dishes while also adding your own creative touch
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate and supervise a team
• Strong understanding of food cost management
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Good communication skills

Salary: $1200/month (tax-free) plus benefits including accommodation, transportation, and yearly ticket allowance.
