Position Summary

The Café Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of L'aprem at Alhazm
, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, premium service standards, and consistent product quality. The role requires a hands‑on leader with strong experience in fine‑dining restaurants or premium café concepts, capable of managing teams, controlling operational costs, driving sales, and maintaining the brand’s high standards of service, hygiene, and presentation.

The ideal candidate is a polished, service‑oriented professional with strong leadership, commercial awareness, and a passion for delivering an outstanding café experience.

Key Responsibilities 1. Café Operations & Service Excellence

Oversee daily café operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent service.
Maintain premium service standards, presentation, and guest experience in line with the café’s concept.
Ensure all food and beverage items meet established quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and the overall café appearance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable food safety regulations.

2. Customer Experience & Guest Relations

Ensure exceptional customer service and a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally and promptly.
Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to enhance the overall guest experience.
Build positive relationships with regular guests and encourage customer loyalty.

3. Staff Management & Leadership

Supervise, coach, and motivate café staff to achieve operational and service objectives.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, conduct, and performance.
Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing during peak and off‑peak periods.
Conduct team briefings, training, and performance reviews as required.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

4. Financial Performance & Cost Control

Monitor daily sales, revenue performance, and progress against sales targets.
Control food and beverage costs, wastage, portioning, and inventory consumption.
Monitor stock levels, oversee inventory counts, and coordinate purchasing requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Support budget preparation and ensure responsible use of resources.

5. Sales Growth & Business Development

Develop and implement creative ideas to increase sales, customer traffic, and repeat visits.
Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities to improve average transaction value.
Plan and execute promotions, seasonal offers, and customer engagement activities.
Monitor sales trends and customer preferences to recommend menu or service improvements.
Work with the management team to support marketing initiatives and strengthen L'aprem's market positioning.

6. Reporting & Administration

Prepare and review daily sales, operational, inventory, and staff reports.
Monitor POS transactions and ensure accurate sales recording and reporting.
Maintain records relating to attendance, stock, wastage, and operational performance.
Use sales data and operational reports to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth business operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in café or restaurant management
, preferably in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or a premium café concept.
Proven experience in managing daily F&B operations and leading service teams.
Strong understanding of premium dining service standards and guest experience management.
Demonstrated knowledge of food safety, hygiene, quality control, and presentation standards.
