Barista

• Prepare andserve espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, teas, and cold beverages to the café’s quality standards
• Greet customerswarmly, take orders accurately, and process payments through thepoint-of-sale system
• Operate, clean,and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other cafe equipment
• Maintain aclean, organized, and hygienic work area in line with Qatar Ministry of Public Health food safety regulations
• Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor
• Assist withopening and closing procedures, including cash handling and dailyreconciliation
• Support the preparation of light snacks, pastries, and sandwiches when required
• Follow health,safety, and sanitation procedures at all times
• Contribute tospecial events, exhibitions, and university functions held on campus

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a barista or in a cafe/hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of espressopreparation, milk steaming, and basic latte art
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good command of English;
  Arabic willbe an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work shifts,including early mornings and in line with the academic calendar
• Valid Food Handler’s Health Card(or willingness to obtain one)

• Barista certification or hospitality training
• Previous experience in auniversity, corporate, or high-volume cafe
• Basic cashier experience
• Ability to work in amulticultural environment
