As a Barista, you’re not just preparing and serving drinks – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

• Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Follow Waldorf Astoria operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, security and health and safety to ensure the safety of self, customers and colleagues at all times.
• Presents oneself professionally to ensure adherence to health and safety rules and quality operations standards.
• To rotate stock, ensuring food and beverage products are used prior to the best before date and that wastage is minimised
• Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Ensure knowledge of menu and all products
• Must have a full knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relation and etiquette
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs, through crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures to pre-check order and close out the check.
• Check stations before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues
• Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manner
• Monitor the quality food and beverage being served on the table.
• Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
