Overview

Entry-Level Merchandiser in Doha, Qatar. We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Merchandiser to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and executing merchandising strategies to increase sales and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

• Collaborate with the buying team to develop merchandising plans that align with company goals and customer needs
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform product selection and placement
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
• Create visually appealing displays that effectively showcase products and attract customers  attention
• Ensure all products are accurately priced and tagged according to company standards
• Continuously analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
• Train and supervise junior merchandisers, providing guidance on product knowledge and presentation techniques

• African or Malayalee nationality preferred but not required
• Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of other languages is a plus
• No prior experience in merchandising necessary, but a passion for retail is a must
• Familiarity with biometric passports preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
• Creativity and attention to detail when designing displays
