Pricing Specialist

Overview

The Pricing Specialist is responsible for setting and managing product prices across Arkan's retail and e-commerce channels. This includes analysing supplier costs, monitoring what competitors are charging, and ensuring prices are set at a level that is both competitive and profitable. The role also ensures that all pricing reflected on the website is accurate and kept up to date.

• Set product prices based on supplier costs, target profit margins, and market positioning
• Regularly review competitor pricing across fashion and luxury retail platforms and recommend adjustments where needed
• Monitor profit margins by product category and analyse customer behaviour to understand how pricing impacts buying decisions and average order value
• Ensure all product prices on the website are accurate, consistent, and updated in a timely manner
• Coordinate with buying, finance, and e-commerce teams on pricing changes, promotions, and markdown activities
• Prepare regular pricing reports and present findings and opportunities to management

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in a pricing, commercial, or retail operations role
• Background in fashion, luxury, or e-commerce retail is required; a genuine understanding of luxury brands and how pricing reflects brand value is essential
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
• High attention to detail with the ability to handle large volumes of product data
• Good communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
