Store Supervisor​/Shift Supervisor - Coffee Shop

Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor/Store Supervisor is responsible for leading the store team during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining operational standards, supporting staff development, and achieving sales and profitability targets. The role involves supervising daily store operations, handling customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company policies.

• Lead and motivate baristas and team members during shifts.
• Delegate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure customers receive high-quality beverages and food products.
• Open and close the store according to company procedures.
• Monitor daily operations and ensure service standards are met.
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and daily cash reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with food-safety regulations and company standards.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of food products.
• Support achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Promote upselling and suggestive-selling techniques.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Diploma in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a coffee shop, café, restaurant, or retail environment.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and food service operations.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
