The Beauty Advisor is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for delivering a premium customer experience in‑store. This role includes welcoming customers, understanding their beauty and skincare needs, demonstrating products, and providing tailored recommendations that reflect Chalhoub Group’s luxury standards. The Beauty Advisor will manage product displays, restocking, and visual merchandising to ensure the counter or boutique is well‑presented and aligned with brand guidelines.
Daily tasks also involve achieving sales targets, processing transactions, handling customer inquiries and feedback, and participating in training sessions to stay updated on new launches, techniques, and brand initiatives. The Beauty Advisor collaborates with store and brand teams to support events, promotions, and loyalty programs, while consistently upholding high standards of professionalism and service.
- Candidates should possess strong customer service and retail sales skills, with the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and convert interactions into sales.
- Candidates should possess solid product knowledge and skin care expertise, enabling them to explain benefits, application techniques, and routines across beauty and skincare lines.
- Candidates should possess cosmetology-related skills or training, including familiarity with beauty trends, basic makeup application, and skincare consultations.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and engage respectfully with diverse customers.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills, reliability in following store procedures, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and peak retail periods.
- Previous experience in beauty retail or luxury retail is highly beneficial; proficiency in English is required, and additional languages are an advantage.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further certifications in beauty, skincare, or cosmetology are considered an asset.
