Merchandiser - Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced and organized Merchandiser to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of increasing sales through effective merchandising and marketing strategies. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for selecting, sourcing, stocking and displaying merchandise in order to attract customers and increase sales.

• Develop strategies to increase store sales by utilizing various merchandising techniques
• Monitor stock levels, ensure shelves are filled with the necessary merchandise and limit overstocks
• Implement promotional strategies that meet customer demand
• Analyze customer preferences and feedback in order to effectively develop marketing plans
• Negotiate with suppliers to get the best deals on products
• Ensure all displays are regularly updated with new products, visuals and promotions
• Work closely with store managers to ensure cohesiveness between merchandising efforts and store operations
• Monitor market trends and respond accordingly by adjusting product selection, pricing or display techniques.

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role
• Knowledge of retail industry trends, POS systems, inventory control principles and merchandising techniques
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written along with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or within a team setting as well as work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of 1200 per month commensurate with experience. We are ready to consider an immigrant for this role.
