Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cashier to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately handling all financial transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. We are ready to consider a foreigner for this position. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
They must also possess a keen eye for detail and be able to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision. The Cashier will also be expected to have basic knowledge of accounting principles as well as inventory management processes.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Process all payment transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures
- Maintain an accurate record of all financial transactions
- Balance the cash register daily by recording the amount of cash received or paid out during each shift
- Count money received at the beginning or end of each shift as needed
- Ensure that the store remains safe and organized by following safety protocols
- Handle customer complaints or refer them to a manager as appropriate
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in cashiering is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills
