We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our Indian restaurant team in Doha As a Cashier you will be responsible for handling cash transactions processing payments and providing excellent customer service to our guests
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash credit and debit card transactions accurately
- Calculate and return change to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries about menu items prices and promotions
- Handle customer complaints and escalating issues to the manager when necessary
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English fluency in Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends and holidays
