Al‑Futtaim Retail is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, sales performance and customer satisfaction in Doha, Qatar. Working closely with the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will help achieve financial targets, maintain retail operating standards and develop a motivated, customer‑focused team. The position combines sales management, inventory control, visual merchandising, expense monitoring and employee development.

The successful candidate will use sales performance data to identify improvement opportunities, implement promotional initiatives and ensure that daily store operations run efficiently. This opportunity is suited to a retail professional with strong leadership abilities, commercial awareness and knowledge of the beauty industry. • Sales Performance and Financial Management
  - Support the Store Manager in achieving store sales and financial objectives.
• Monitor, evaluate and guide store-level sales performance.
• Analyze sales results and recommend strategies to improve performance against targets.
• Facilitate monthly category sales meetings to review results and communicate improvement plans.
• Keep employees informed about category performance, sales priorities and business objectives.
• Implement agreed sales strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Ensure complete execution of programs for exclusive products to support sales goals.
• Evaluate promotional effectiveness and provide relevant feedback.
• Identify opportunities to optimize store expenses.
• Recommend cost‑control measures that support profitability without compromising service standards.
• Monitor shrinkage and maintain losses below established tolerance levels.
• Review compliance with retail standards to support inventory accuracy and loss prevention.
• Commercial Operations and Visual Merchandising
  - Oversee the implementation of product displays in accordance with store requirements.
• Ensure merchandise is replenished promptly to maintain product availability.
• Monitor visual merchandising standards and the overall presentation of the sales floor.
• Support the implementation of commercial initiatives and promotional activities.
• Verify that promotions are executed correctly and within required timelines.
• Communicate promotional activities and selling priorities to the store team.
• Encourage effective selling techniques to improve customer conversion rates.
• Maintain awareness of beauty industry developments and relevant product trends.

• Inventory Management and Stock Control
