Sales Associate

This job will be based at Asian Paints Doha Trading (APDT), Qatar.

We are currently looking for dedicated, customer-oriented, dynamic individual as Sales Associate.

Ideal candidate will work with Painting Contractors/ Building Contractors & Décor Companies, Dealer Networks, exhibition companies, garages, PMCs and FMCs.

• Achieve monthly sales targets, assigned to him/her, for various products and services
• Maintain a deep understanding of customers' operations and determine technical needs
• Ensure Collections, Technical Guidance, Site Assistance and Documentation Closures
• Ensure that all pipeline activities recorded and updated in the CRM – Skyhawk Call Logs and Funnel
• Meet sales projections, generate on-going sales opportunities and achieve individual sales targets
• Enlist all influencers working in Retail domain under the Geography/Area assigned
• Maintain Customer Master List of competition contractors, PMCs and FMCs in the defined territory
• Conduct business development activity and proactively identify sales prospects in the geography assigned. Identify villa/building paint and Waterproofing/Floor Coating potential and register painting contractors record linked with painting potential villas
• Follow up with existing and new competition contractors for new leads and referrals to generate business
• Convert competition contractor’s, PMCs and FMCs business and maintain month on month business generated from them
• Maintain PMCs/FMCs list to visit and convert PMCs/FMCs using competition products
• Register and Specify AP Berger brand name in PMCs/Villa consultants Spec
• Ensure the timely and successful delivering of our Paints and WPCC & Floor Coating solutions to the customer
• Present complete product portfolio to contractors & clients and keep them up to date with new products introduction and technical enablers
• Ensure high level of contractor satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess contractors needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Welcome customer enquiries and convert into target product category
• Organize on shop sales meeting and events
• Ensure all influencer participation in all company initiatives and ensure 70% will achieve the set target
• Ensure 100% product training to all contractors in your territory
• Responsible for business development, managing relationship with key clients and pre-sales services for influencers

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or sales preferred. MBA is preferred
• 2-3 years working sales experience in a similar role in Construction Chemicals and Paint Industry, preferably in Doha, Qatar
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office suite
• Sales and account management experience
• Prospecting and lead generation and nurturing experience
• Ability to think laterally and strong social skills and presence
• Goal-oriented with a strong drive for results
• Adaptability to thrive in dynamic and competitive market
• English & Hindi fluency is Critical (speaking and writing). Knowing Arabic & Bangali will be an added advantage
