Responsibilities
- Oversee daily security operations to ensure the safety and protection of personnel and property, proactively identifying potential risks.
- Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain a secure environment, adapting them as necessary based on evolving threats.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Coordinate and lead emergency response efforts, including fire drills and evacuations, while maintaining clear communication with local authorities.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate security staff to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to established security practices.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches, compiling comprehensive reports that document findings and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management to assess security vulnerabilities and implement strategic improvements to mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate records of security activities, including incident reports, access logs, and surveillance footage, for review and compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for law enforcement agencies during security-related incidents, fostering strong professional relationships.
- Utilize technology and security systems effectively, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to enhance overall security measures.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in security operations or law enforcement to demonstrate expertise in the field.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, or a related field is preferred to ensure foundational knowledge.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are highly regarded.
- Experience in a supervisory role, with a track record of effectively managing a team and driving performance.
- Knowledge of local security laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and fostering a safe environment.
- Fluency in English is essential, while additional languages are a plus for multicultural environments.
- Strong technical skills in security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, are necessary for effective oversight.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact with diverse groups and manage conflicts.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure, showcasing strong problem-solving skills in emergency situations.
