This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating the building's CCTV surveillance system to ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, employees, and property. The position requires continuous monitoring of surveillance cameras, prompt reporting of suspicious activities or incidents, and accurate maintenance of CCTV records and reports.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously and effectively.
- Observe and identify suspicious, unusual, or unauthorized activities within the residential building and surrounding areas.
- Immediately report security incidents, emergencies, suspicious behavior, or safety concerns to the Security Supervisor.
- Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, common areas, lobbies, corridors, elevators, and other designated locations.
- Operate CCTV monitoring equipment, recording systems, playback functions, and related security systems.
- Review recorded CCTV footage when requested for security investigations or incident verification.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of incidents, observations, and unusual activities.
- Ensure that CCTV recordings are properly maintained, stored, and protected from unauthorized access.
- Coordinate with security guards and other building personnel when an incident is identified.
- Assist management and security personnel in investigating incidents by providing relevant CCTV footage.
- Immediately escalates emergencies such as fire, theft, unauthorized access, accidents, or other security threats.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure that CCTV cameras and monitoring equipment are functioning properly.
- Report faulty cameras, recording equipment, monitors, or other technical issues to the responsible department or maintenance team.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of CCTV footage and security-related information.
- Follow all company security procedures, building regulations, and applicable health and safety requirements.
- Prepare daily CCTV monitoring reports and incident reports as required.
- Perform other security-related duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Management.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a CCTV Operator, CCTV Monitoring Officer, Security Control Room Operator, or similar position.
- Previous experience in a residential building, hotel, commercial building, facility management, or similar environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and security monitoring procedures.
- Ability to operate CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, monitors, and recording/playback equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and electronic reporting systems.
- Good observation and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to remain alert and focused during long periods of monitoring.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and promptly during emergencies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive security information.
