Security Guard

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, customers, and property. The role involves monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, preventing unauthorized access, identifying security risks, and responding promptly to incidents and emergencies.

• Monitor and control entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter the premises.
• Verify visitor identification, maintain visitor logs, and issue visitor passes when required.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, and surrounding premises.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and unauthorized activities.
• Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and security breaches to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, fire alarms, and other security-related situations.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and follow established emergency procedures.
• Maintain daily occurrence books, incident reports, and security registers.
• Ensure compliance with site security policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Provide assistance and directions to visitors, employees, and customers in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with the Security Supervisor, Facilities Management team, and emergency services when necessary.
• Ensure proper handover of duties to the incoming security shift.
