We are seeking on urgent basis a skilled Draftsman to join our Carpentry Workshop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that guide the construction and fabrication of wooden structures and components. This role requires precision, creativity, and a strong understanding of carpentry principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate technical drawings and blueprints for carpentry projects using CAD software and manual drafting techniques.
• Collaborate with Carpentry Manager & Carpentry Foreman to ensure designs meet specifications and functional requirements.
• Interpret specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce clear and comprehensive drawings.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope or design.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
• Assist in material estimation and project planning as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in carpentry or woodworking workshops.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar).
• Strong understanding of carpentry tools, materials, and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in drafting, carpentry, or related fields is a plus.
