Role OverviewThe primary responsibility is to support crane maintenance operations on client platforms, demonstrating safety leadership and continuous development in all aspects of crane, lifting, and support service activities.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas- Carry out maintenance duties offshore as directed by the Crane Supervisor.
- Effectively perform scheduled and unscheduled planned maintenance routines of all offshore pedestal cranes, overhead gantry cranes, monorail hoists, life raft davits, winches, and fixed lifting equipment.
- Perform site repair work on all pedestal cranes, gantry cranes, monorail hoists, life raft davits, and winches arising from planned maintenance inspections and crane operator maintainer comments.
- Operate overhead cranes under the direction of nominated site personnel in accordance with authorized operator's instruction manual and site operating procedures.
- When operating overhead cranes, carry out daily routine maintenance in accordance with maintenance procedures and pre-start checklist.
- Inspect the job site to ensure compliance with safe practices and procedures, maintain quality of safety, and participate in site safety reviews (e.g., near miss reporting/STOP cards).
- Provide detailed reports of any crane incidents to the Crane Supervisor.
- Issue a daily report to the crane supervisor of any maintenance, corrective maintenance, or troubleshooting carried out.
- Complete maintenance job plans and submit to the crane supervisor with details of any parts required for replacement.
- Time-serviced mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical technicians.
- Minimum of 3 years offshore experience.
- Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical equipment.
