Mechanical Technician

• Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Conduct inspections and routine checks to ensure equipment functionality
• Replace or repair defective parts such as bearings, belts, valves, pumps, and motors
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve equipment performance
• Assist in equipment upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and safety awareness
