We are currently hiring for the Plumbing Scaffolding Inspector position based at Qatar University for a 3-month project, with the possibility of extension.

Location: Qatar University

Salary: QAR 3,500 (Full Package)

Experience

Required:

5 years in Facilities Management Services (FMS), including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role

Contract: 3-month project with possible extension based on performance

Working Days &

Hours:

6 working days per week, 9 hours per day (including breaks)

The Plumbing Scaffolding Inspector will oversee, inspect, and ensure the safe erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures at Qatar University facilities. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience in scaffolding work within FMS operations and hold a valid scaffolding training certificate from a recognized Qatar training center.

• Supervise and inspect the erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure all scaffolding works meet Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and company safety protocols.
• Conduct daily inspections and regular maintenance checks on scaffolding to ensure structural stability.
• Approve and sign scaffold tags after confirming safe erection and compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for timely and efficient project completion.
• Monitor and guide scaffolders on‑site to ensure proper use of materials and adherence to safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, permits, and safety reports.
• Report any safety concerns, hazards, or incidents immediately to the HSE department.

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Plumbing, Construction, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Facilities Management Services (FMS), including at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
• Valid scaffolding training certificate from an approved Qatar training center (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of scaffolding safety standards, QCS regulations, and inspection procedures.
• Proven ability to manage teams, conduct site audits, and enforce compliance.
• Physically fit, safety‑conscious, and detail‑oriented.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
