We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will design and implement end-to-end data pipelines, leveraging core Azure services like Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and Data Lake Storage to process large volumes of data.
The ideal candidate will apply their expertise in PySpark, Scala, and SQL to develop complex data transformations and support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Your work will ensure our data is high-quality, well-governed, and efficiently integrated across various sources. This position requires close collaboration with analytics, BI, and application teams to deliver data solutions that drive business value.
- 8+ years of professional experience in an Azure Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
- Proven proficiency in processing and transformation using PySpark, Scala, and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and developing end-to-end data pipelines on Azure.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and big data technologies.
- Experience working with modern data storage formats such as Delta Lake and Parquet.
- Experience implementing data integration solutions from multiple disparate sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex data issues.
- Microsoft Certified:
Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) or related certifications. - Experience working on large-scale, enterprise data platforms.
- Familiarity with real-time data ingestion using services like Azure Event Hub.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and tools like Azure Purview.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.
