Senior Frontend Engineer; Web Architecture & Performance — PCORE Team

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve architecture of existing frontend applications
• Investigate large and complex codebases across multiple projects
• Identify technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and inconsistent implementation patterns
• Design and implement unified frontend standards and reusable approaches
• Lead frontend architecture decisions across teams
• Improve web application performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Work with microfront end architectures and shared frontend platforms
• Optimize:
  • rendering performance
  • bundle size
  • state management
  • API interaction patterns
  • caching strategies
  • lazy loading and code splitting
• Design scalable component libraries and shared UI systems
• Collaborate with backend, platform, Dev Ops, product, and design teams
• Support migration and modernization initiatives
• Mentor engineers and promote frontend engineering best practices

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
• Strong expertise in:
  • React
  • Next.js
  • Type Script
  • Redux and modern state management approaches
  • frontend architecture patterns
• Strong experience with:
  • microfront end architectures
  • modular frontend systems
  • shared component libraries
  • monorepo approaches
• Deep understanding of:
  • rendering lifecycle
  • browser performance
  • memory usage
  • network optimization
  • bundle optimization
  • SSR/CSR tradeoffs
• Experience optimizing large-scale production web applications
• Ability to investigate and understand unfamiliar codebases quickly
• Strong experience with:
  • REST APIs
  • GraphQL

• Experience with:
  • CI/CD

• Strong knowledge of:
