Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Testing iOS and Android native mobile applications used by millions of users.
• Conducting smoke tests, regression tests, feature testing, and exploratory testing.
• Participating in release planning and acting as the voice of QA for the product.
• Capturing and analyzing network traces and device logs to determine root causes of defects.
• Writing and maintaining UI test automation that performs end‑to‑end testing for mobile applications.
• Evaluating test results and making recommendations.
• Engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify questions to devise and enhance test scenarios that drive high‑quality testing processes.
• Keeping up to date on new technologies, standards, protocols and tools relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment.
• Solving complex business problems while ensuring the product is highly scalable, secure, and performant.
• Familiarity with the underlying architecture and call flows of mobile applications.

• 4+ years of experience in full software development or testing and the test lifecycle.
• More than a year of experience testing backend using POSTMAN or similar.
• Experience performing mobile application testing on Android and iOS wireless devices.
• Experience creating and maintaining testability tools such as virtual services and test data services.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a passion for quality and excellent communication skills.

• Empathy for users and an interest in understanding the human impact of the work across cultures and walks of life.

• Experience testing and debugging mobile applications and previous exposure to automated test tools.
• Experience in developing GUI test automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium and functional testing with unit test frameworks such as xUnit and Jest.
