An opportunity is available for an experienced BASE
24-eps Software Development Consultant to support a leading banking client in Doha, Qatar. This contract position is suited to professionals with strong expertise in payment switching systems, banking transaction processing, and HPE Non Stop/Tandem environments.
The successful candidate should have hands-on experience with BASE
24-eps, TACL, Pathway, and C/C++ programming. Knowledge of ATM, point-of-sale (POS), and card payment processing is essential, along with an understanding of authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and ISO 8583 messaging.
The role also requires experience supporting system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production environments. Key Responsibilities- Support software development and maintenance activities involving BASE
24-eps payment switching systems. - Work with HPE Non Stop/Tandem environments, including TACL and Pathway.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software components using C/C++.
- Support transaction processing for ATM, POS, and card payment systems.
- Work with payment authorization, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Support integrations and transaction messaging based on ISO 8583.
- Assist with payment scheme-related technical requirements involving Visa, Mastercard, and other card networks.
- Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Investigate and resolve production issues related to payment processing systems.
- Support the reliability and continuity of banking payment operations.
