We are looking for a strong Oracle APEX Developer to join UDC IT Projects and work across multiple business applications.
The successful candidate will work in a modular Agile development environment, delivering complete application modules from approved requirements through development, integration, testing, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.
- Develop complex database functionality using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and dynamic SQL.
- Customize Oracle APEX components including Interactive Grids, Interactive Reports, Forms, Dynamic Actions, LOVs, validations, processes, and shared components.
- Develop and integrate RESTful services and APIs with Oracle APEX applications.
- Integrate Oracle APEX applications with Oracle EBS and external systems/data sources.
- Work with Oracle EBS data, APIs, and business processes to support application requirements and integrations.
- Design efficient SQL queries and optimize application and database performance.
- Implement application security using APEX authentication and authorization, access controls, session-state protection, and secure coding practices.
- Develop reusable application components, follow coding standards, and best practices.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
- Perform performance tuning, system optimization, and application health checks.
- Proactively identify technical issues, risks, and roadblocks during development and implementation.
- Maintain technical documentation for applications, database objects, integrations, and deployment procedures.
- Provide ongoing production support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and application enhancements.
- 6+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.
- Strong experience developing responsive and interactive web applications.
- Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and relational database design.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, preferably Oracle EBS R12.
- Good understanding of Oracle EBS data, APIs, and business processes.
- Experience integrating applications with Oracle EBS.
- Strong experience with ORDS, REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
- Understanding of modular, reusable, and maintainable application development.
- Experience with Agile / sprint-based development.
- Ability to work independently and deliver complete application modules.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12 APIs and integrations.
- Experience with Git and source-code management.
- Experience with data migration and legacy-system integration.
- Experience in HR, Recruitment, CRM, Billing, Marina, Operations, or similar business domains.
