Gulf Helicopters Company (GHC), one of the region’s most established and respected helicopter operators, is seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Head of Fleet Planning. This is a strategic, high‑impact role at the heart of our long‑term growth, supporting offshore oil & gas operations, SAR, HEMS, VIP, and international missions across the Middle East and beyond.

Responsibilities- Lead the development of GHC’s long‑term fleet strategy across offshore, SAR, HEMS, VIP, and international operations.
- Define optimal fleet mix, size, and renewal plans aligned with customer contracts and operational requirements.
- Manage aircraft acquisition campaigns, including OEM and lessor negotiations.
- Evaluate lease vs purchase options, PBH packages, and lifecycle cost models.
- Oversee aircraft phase‑in/phase‑out programs and ensure compliance with QCAA and international regulations.
- Support tender submissions with fleet capability, performance, and cost analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, CAMO, and Commercial teams to ensure fleet readiness and availability.
- Prepare Board‑level fleet strategy papers, investment proposals, and market intelligence reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, Economics, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 8‑10+ years of experience in fleet planning, aircraft acquisition, aviation consulting, or rotary‑wing operations.
- Strong understanding of helicopter performance, maintenance economics, and mission suitability.
- Proven experience working with Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo, Sikorsky, Bell, or major lessors.
- Solid financial modelling skills and familiarity with PBH, maintenance reserves, and lifecycle cost structures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex fleet transitions in a high‑reliability, safety‑focused environment.
