Light Vehicle Driver (Operations & Logistics Support)

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Driver with extensive knowledge of Qatar’s roads and industrial areas. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience driving pickups or light trucks and is willing to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines. Unlike a standard driver role, this position requires a team player who is willing to assist with manual tasks in the factory (loading, unloading, material movement) when not driving.

• Operate company vehicles (Pickups / 3-Ton / Van) to transport materials, finished products, and staff safely.
• Navigate efficiently to suppliers, client sites, and the Industrial Area using excellent knowledge of Qatar’s routes (avoiding traffic / roadworks).
• Transport staff from accommodation to site / workshop strictly adhering to time schedules.

• Actively assist in loading and unloading heavy materials (steel beams, signage, consumables) at the workshop and client sites.
• Secure loads properly using ratchet straps and ropes to prevent damage or safety hazards during transport.
• Verify delivery notes (DO) against materials loaded to ensure accuracy.

• Assist the factory team during downtime (when no driving is required) with general tasks such as moving stock, cleaning the yard, or helping fabricators.
• Support the purchasing team by collecting urgent small items (hardware, paint, tools) from local suppliers.

• Perform daily checks on the vehicle (oil, water, tires, battery) and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness (interior and exterior).
• Wear appropriate PPE (Safety Shoes / Vest) when entering construction sites or working in the factory.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3+ years of driving experience in Qatar (clean driving record).
• License:
  Valid Qatari Driving License (Light Vehicle Manual / Automatic). Medium Truck license is a plus.
• Route Knowledge:
  Expert knowledge of Doha, Industrial Area (Streets 1–52), Lusail, and major suppliers / hardware stores.
• Flexibility:
  Willingness to work extended hours, early mornings, or split shifts depending on site requirements.
• Attitude:
  Must be willing to perform manual labor and assist the team, not just drive.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items during loading / unloading.
• Ability to drive for extended periods in traffic.

• Salary
  : QAR 1,800.00 – 2,400.00 per month (Based on license type and experience).
