We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to handle, move, and store materials efficiently within the worksite or warehouse. The candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
Ensure materials are stored in the correct locations and arranged neatly for easy access.
Assist with inventory management and maintain accurate movement records.
Follow all safety protocols and site procedures during forklift operation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, riggers, and logistics teams for smooth material movement.
Adhere to company and site-specific HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
Qualifications & ExperienceValid Forklift Operator License/Certification (as per Qatar or recognized authority).
Minimum 23 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse, logistics, or construction settings.
Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and stacking practices.
Basic mechanical knowledge for routine forklift checks.
Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety signage.
Must be physically fit and alert while operating machinery.
Skills RequiredStrong awareness of safety procedures and hazard prevention.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
Ability to operate different types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.) is an advantage.
