We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Experience Advisor to join our Excursions Department. This is a customer-facing, sales-focused role based in the hotel and responsible for selling tours and experiences directly to guests. The role plays a key part in driving revenue through excellent service, persuasive communication, and in-depth product knowledge.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to manage transportation operations and ground movement services. This role involves handling vehicle and driver requests, coordinating arrivals and departures, confirming transportation services, and maintaining accurate system and operational records to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
The ideal candidate is service-driven, dependable under pressure, and proactive, with a strong focus on operational accuracy and guest satisfaction while working closely with internal teams, transport providers, and drivers.
Transportation Support & Coordination- Support the logistics team in handling transportation and vehicle requests for arrivals, departures, and inter-hotel transfers.
- Assist in assigning drivers and preparing daily driver programs in coordination with the operations (OPS) roster.
- Help monitor DG fleet usage and report on vehicle maintenance schedules, registrations, insurance, and toll payments.
- Coordinate with transport providers to follow up on confirmations, amendments, and cancellations under senior guidance.
- Assist in reconfirming complimentary hotel transfers and communicating updates to the Welcome Concierge team.
- Support the team in handling urgent transportation-related calls and last-minute operational changes when required.
- Assist in importing, reviewing, and verifying bookings, including flight details, car type, airport, hotel, and pricing.
- Enter airport, port, inter-hotel, and local market transfer bookings accurately into the system.
- Update the system with pick-up times, no-shows, show-ups, amendments, and cancellations as instructed.
- Support the team in sending bookings to suppliers and updating confirmations in the system.
- Check for new or amended reservations and ensure records are accurately updated.
- Support responses to email inquiries, quotations, and transportation-related service queries.
- Coordinate with Experience Advisors and internal teams for guest transportation requests and special assistance.
- Assist in communicating arrival, departure, or movement changes to hotels, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Support lost-and-found follow-ups related to transportation services.
- Assist in preparing drivers’ transfer slips and ensure timely sharing with hotels and operations teams.
- Help verify supplier statements and forward them to Accounts for processing.
- Support monthly checks of fuel statements and GPS reports against driver job orders.
- Assist in preparing fleet expense summaries and maintaining records of transportation supplies.
- Help prepare paging boards, welcome packs, and track inventory levels.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Tourism, Business, or related field.
- Professional training in operations/logistics is an advantage.
- 2–3 years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or a similar DMC operational role.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar geography, transportation regulations, and local market operations.
- Familiarity with logistics systems is an advantage.
- Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word).
- English proficiency required.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and respond quickly in fast-paced operations.
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented, proactive, hands-on personality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain high accuracy.
