Job Purpose:
Responsible for coordinating the overall operations of The Bridge Co.’s fleet to meet set objectives in an efficient and timely manner, in line with the company’s set guidelines and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Coordinate the daily activities of Fleet Management operations and prioritize work to be completed in set timelines.
- Assists the Fleet Supervisor in meeting contractual agreements by overseeing and coordinating the day‑to‑day operations of the fleet.
- Monitor operational achievement of performance goals and customer service levels ensuring they are commensurate with contract standards.
- Operate the Fleet Management Information System, including data analysis, report generation and monitoring performance standards to ensure contract compliance.
- Ensures compliance with all safety, environmental, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Inspect and prepare returned vehicles.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims related to accidents.
- Coordinate with customers and arrange service scheduling.
- Prepare and submit purchase orders/ Delivery Notes to Assistant fleet manager for review.
- Ensure fleet availability in order to meet all clients’ requests on time.
- Update and maintain database including sales, registration, inspections, and maintenance documents of fleet vehicles.
- Prep, tag and number fleet vehicles, inspect new vehicles and apply an Stickers to all vehicles; as well as deliver vehicles to clients in an efficient and timely manner.
- Guide and assist subordinates whenever required to ensure smooth workflow of operations.
- Coordinate with the warehouse in order to ensure all automotive damages are repaired and all activities related to the mechanical repairs and maintenance offfleet vehicles are accomplished to obtain maximum utilization of fleet and prevent operational delays.
- Provide accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date information, in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner to direct management regarding fleet activities.
- Perform ad‑hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Management
- Implement the Fleet Management Department’s policies and the set procedures in order to achieve the Fleet Management Department’s objectives.
- Prepare and submit reports (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) to Direct Management, as required, that cover all fleet supervision activities and issues (if any).
- Ensure ongoing compliance to the ISO standards and seek continual improvement to the Integrated management system.
- Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Management.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fleet operations or logistics.
- Proficiency in English language and Arabic language would be an added value.
- Excellent Computer skills, Operating systems, Microsoft Office suite and others.
