Qatar Airways is seeking an experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer Level 1 to join our Technical Engineering team in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering maintenance activities that directly support flight operations, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient aircraft performance. You will provide specialized technical knowledge, supervise mechanics, and uphold the highest standards of maintenance quality and reliability.

• Plan assigned activities efficiently, operating equipment and using tooling in line with Qatar Airways procedures
• Review and propose improvements to work procedures and standards for operational efficiency
• Oversee and approve maintenance tasks performed by mechanics, ensuring compliance with quality standards and dispatch reliability goals
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet Qatar Airways and customer requirements, providing strong support to internal and external stakeholders
• Implement technical solutions within your authority to maintain aircraft and component serviceability
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to technicians and aircraft mechanics
• Supervise maintenance teams, ensuring correct tools, high workmanship standards, and safe work practices are applied

• High School, Vocational Qualification, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of job-related experience (4 years with a bachelor's degree)
• Diploma or degree in Aircraft Maintenance plus a valid ICAO/QCAA license with Qatar Airways main fleet approvals
• Heavy vehicle driving license as per company requirements
• Strong problem-solving, operational, and equipment handling skills
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and team management abilities
