Position Overview
Aircraft Mechanic Structure roles in Doha, Qatar support Qatar Airways engineering operations by performing structural and cabin maintenance tasks in line with approved technical data, company standards, and five-star cabin quality requirements. This role ensures aircraft interiors and structural components are maintained safely, efficiently, and to the highest operational standards to support on‑time aircraft availability.

- Perform aircraft structure and cabin maintenance tasks in accordance with approved technical data, QR standards, and safety procedures
- Adhere to Qatar Airways Technical Procedure Manuals and aircraft maintenance documentation for all assigned work
- Accomplish maintenance, troubleshooting, defect rectification, and repair of cockpit seats, cockpit furnishings, linings, and panels
- Perform maintenance and repair of first class, business class, and economy class seating systems
- Carry out maintenance and defect rectification on lavatories, galley structures, galley equipment, and inserts
- Perform maintenance, preparation, and repair of carpets and vinyl cabin materials
- Execute cabin maintenance tasks as directed by cabin lead mechanics, licensed engineers, or technicians
- Coordinate with cabin team members to complete complex tasks within defined turnaround time requirements
- Support line and heavy maintenance teams when assigned to complete cabin maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety precautions and approved documentation related to specific aircraft types
- Ensure replacement parts and components are approved and compatible with the applicable aircraft type
- High school qualification, vocational qualification, or diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Degree, diploma, or license in aircraft maintenance or aviation engineering
- Minimum 5 years of certifying experience
- Basic ICAO type license
- Strong knowledge of cabin interiors fundamentals and structural repair practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical aircraft maintenance documentation
- Skilled in using correct tools and equipment for structural and cabin maintenance tasks
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints with a high level of technical competency
- Work within a world‑class airline engineering and maintenance environment
- Contribute to maintaining five-star cabin standards across a global fleet
