Freight and Logistics Coordinator

Overview

Responsible for the end-to-end tracking and coordination of inbound shipments, courier operations, and order fulfillment logistics across Qatar and the GCC. The role covers all freight modes such as sea, air, and express courier alongside last-mile delivery oversight and returns processing across multiple brands.

• Track all inbound shipments from China and Dubai across sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, and express courier; maintain a live consignment tracker with ETD, ETA, carrier, and status updated daily.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs clearance agents on Qatar and Dubai imports; maintain complete records of customs documentation, HS codes, and duty payments per shipment.
• Prepare and file all shipping documents: commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, and certificates of origin.
• Manage day-to-day courier operations with Aramex and Fed Ex — bookings, tracking, and invoice verification; flag billing discrepancies before payment approval.
• Coordinate inventory transfers from Dubai to the Qatar store; track all outbound consignments across destinations from dispatch to confirmed receipt.
• Monitor the Qatar local delivery application daily; follow up on unassigned, delayed, or failed orders and elevate as needed.
• Track all inbound returns (international via Aramex, UAE via local partner); coordinate condition assessments with the store team and maintain a complete returns log.
• Maintain organized records of all freight, customs, courier, and transfer documents for finance reconciliation and internal audit.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, with working knowledge of sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, express courier, and GCC import/export procedures and customs clearance requirements.
• Proficiency in Aramex, Fed Ex, or similar courier platforms.
• Strong attention to detail in invoice checking, shipment data, and record-keeping.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
• Clear written communicator in English;
  Arabic is an advantage.
